Week 7 All-Threat Team
We're starting to see the cream rise to the top on the offensive side of the ball as 8 of our 14 All-Threat performers have appeared on teams previously this year. We continue to see a trend of strong running back performance in 2024 and two of the best highlight this week's First Team.
Threat Ratings Week 7 First Team
QB- Justin Herbert(1), LAC: Herbert threw for 359 yards and had a 97.1 passer rating against the Cardinals, but was unable to push the ball into the endzone, ultimately resulting in a loss. Despite the loss, he had the most efficient Threat performance of the weekend. He accounted for 8.9 yards per attempt, by far his highest mark of the season. The Chargers had trouble getting their run game going and had to lean on Herbert who came up just short when the defense couldn't stop a two-minute drive by Arizona.
RB- Saquon Barkley(2), Philadelphia: Barkley amassed 176 yards on only 17 rushing attempts in a 28-3 annihilation of the Giants. He caught only two passes for 11 yards, but one of his run after the catch rumbles was enough to earn him the angry run septer on the NFL Networks Good Morning Football. Barkley is spearheading the Eagles offense which finally got the type of performance they came to expect a couple of years ago with Jalen Hurts playing much better in week 7. His teammate AJ Brown made the 2nd team this week and the Eagles will need both those weapons clicking to win the NFC East.
RB- Jahmyr Gibbs(2), Detroit: It was Gibbs’ turn to be the front of the Lions two headed rushing monster in week 7. The Lions have put a back on the All-Threat team in 4 out of 6 games played and that’s with them splitting the work nearly evenly. Gibbs rushed the ball 15 times for 116 yards including an electric 45-yard touchdown run that put the Lions right back in the game after falling behind early. He also caught all 4 of his targets for 44 yards and scored one other touchdown on the ground. The Lion’s duo is a huge handful for whoever they face and there’s no telling which one will hurt you most, but one of them most definitely will.
TE- Hunter Henry(1), New England: Drake Maye may have found his new favorite target in tight end Hunter Henry. Henry accumulated 9 targets in the Sunday morning London loss to Jacksonville. He turned those 9 targets into 8 receptions for 92 yards, which could be classified as a monster performance in the current tight end landscape in the NFL. He edged out perennial pro-bowler George Kittle for top spot at the position in Week 7.
WR- Amon-Ra St. Brown(2), Detroit: The Lions flex their muscle with the run game, but they have plenty to fall back on when it’s time to turn it over to the play action pass. St. Brown is one of the most consistent performers in the league week in and week out. He has 39 receptions in 6 games including catching all 8 of his targets for 112 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings. He’ll need to continue to lead the Lions receiving corps with Jameson Williams set to serve a 2 game suspension for performance enhancing substances.
WR- Terry McLaurin(2), Washington: Jayden Daniels went down early against Carolina on Sunday, but it didn’t stop another big day for Terry McLaurin. He caught all 6 of his targets for 98 yards in the contest. McLaurin has been a great player in the NFL for quite some time, but has really been able to show his talent with Daniels taking over the reigns in Washington this year. Somehow, he didn’t miss a beat with Marcus Mariota taking over in week 7. Daniels is considered week to week right now.
WR- George Pickens(2), Pittsburgh: The insertion of Russell Wilson into the lineup could only mean one thing… Moonballs to George Pickens. And one of the best contested ball catchers in the league took advantage of the opportunity against the Jets on Sunday night. Pickens had 5 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown and the Jets seemingly had no answer for the Wilson to Pickens connection. With Wilson now the starter moving forward, we’ll see if the enhanced Pickens’ production continues.
Threat Ratings Week 7 Second Team

RB- Tank Bigsby(1), Jacksonville
