Week 17 All-Havoc Team
Week 17 saw some of the stalwarts on the defensive line flex their muscle and show up on our All-Havoc team after having terrific seasons all year long. In the secondary, we see a few faces that have been more average throughout the season but had great week 17's. First Team All-Havoc
CB- Devon Witherspoon(2), Seattle: Witherspoon had 6 tackles, 3 TFL’s, and a sack in the Seahawks 6-3 win over Chicago on Thursday Night Football. He was first in coverage Havoc and top 15 against the run among corners in week 17. Witherspoon’s season Havoc Rating of 87.6 is 11th best for corners in 2024.
CB- Jack Jones(3), Las Vegas: Jones had two tackles and an interception in the Raiders 25-10 win over New Orleans on Sunday. He was 2nd among corners in Coverage Havoc on the week. He has a season long Havoc Rating of 80.6, just inside the top 50 for corners in 2024.
CB- Amik Robertson(2), Detroit: Robertson had 2 tackles, a forced fumble and a pass defended in Detroit’s 40-34 win over San Francisco on Monday Night Football. He was the 3rd ranked corner in Coverage Havoc in week 17. His season Havoc Rating is 78.4, 65th best for corners in 2024.
S- Kerby Joseph(3), Detroit: Joseph continued his outstanding season with 2 more interceptions against the 49ers giving him 9 for the season. He also added 6 tackles in the game. Joseph was the top ranked safety in coverage for the week. His 94.3 season-long Havoc Rating is 2nd best in the league for safeties, trailing only Budda Baker.
S- Dane Belton(2), NYG: Belton had 8 tackles and an interception in the Giants untimely 45-33 win over the Colts on Sunday. He was 3rd in Coverage Havoc for safeties in week 17. Belton has a 70.6 season-long Havoc Rating, just inside the top 75 at his position.
LB- Tyrel Dodson(1), Miami: Dodson had 15 tackles and an interception in Miami’s 20-3 victory over Cleveland to keep their playoff hopes alive. Dodson had a huge game ranking 1st in Coverage Havoc, 3rd in Run-stopping Havoc and top 20 is Pass Rush Havoc among linebackers in week 17. He’s quietly had an outstanding season with an 89.9 Havoc Rating, 6th best among off-ball linebackers.
LB- Zaire Franklin(2), Indianapolis: Franklin had 14 tackles and a forced fumble in the loss to the Giants on Sunday. He led all Linebackers in Run-stopping Havoc in week 17. He has an 89.1 Havoc Rating for the season, ranking him 8th among off-ball linebackers.
ED- Nick Bosa(2), San Francisco: Bosa had 8 tackles, 4 tackles for loss and 2 sacks against the Lions on Monday Night Football, giving him 9 sacks on the season. He was 2nd among edges for the week in Pass Rush and Run Defense Havoc. He has an 88.7 Havoc Rating for the season, ranking 3rd among edge rushers.
ED- Myles Garrett(3), Cleveland: Garrett had 4 tackles and 2 sacks in the loss to Miami on Sunday continuing an excellent season despite Cleveland’s less than stellar record. He was 9th in Pass Rush Havoc and 11th in Run-Stopping Havoc on the week. Garrett has a season-long Havoc Rating of 84.5, which is 8th best among Edges.
DT- Zach Allen(2), Denver: Allen had 7 tackles and 3.5 sacks in the Broncos loss to the Bengals on Saturday giving him 8.5 sacks on the season. He led all defensive tackles in Pass Rush Havoc for the week. Allen’s 90.6 season-long Havoc Rating, ranks 5th among interior defensive linemen.
DT- Leonard Williams(4), Seattle: Williams had 5 tackles and 2 sacks in Seattle’s Thursday night win over Chicago making his 4th All-Havoc team of the season. Williams was 2nd among defensive tackles in Pass Rush Havoc for the week. In his 10th season, Williams is having a career year. His 92.4 Havoc Rating ranks 3rd for defensive tackles in 2024.
