On the offensive side of the ball, when it comes to skill positions, we generally know who had the best games. Statistically, we can see production, but Threat can take it a step further and dive deep into who did the most on the field to help their team score. With that in mind, here is our NFL Week 1 All-Threat Team.

Threat Rate Week 1 First Team

Quarterback- Lamar Jackson(1): Jackson was unable to secure a win, but he was our top Threat QB on the week. Not surprisingly, Jackson led all quarterbacks in rushing Threat almost doubling second place Anthony Richardson. However, Jackson also threw effectively coming in 2nd in passing Threat on the week. He came up just a toe short of a chance to beat the defending Super Bowl Champions in their place.

Running Back- Jordan Mason (1): No CMC, no problem, I guess. Jordan Mason had the most rushing attempts he's had since High School with 28 in the 49ers win over the Jets. He turned that in to 147 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The 49ers manhandled the Jets up front and we're guessing if there was a Threat rate for offensive lineman, there'd be some Niners on the first team this week.

Running Back- Joe Mixon (2): Unlike Mason, Mixon is a known entity but not in a Texans uniform. He led all backs in rushing with 159 yards in the Houston win over Indianapolis. He scored a touchdown and had 3 receptions as well looking like he'll fit nicely into the high powered Texans' attack.

Tight End- Isaiah Likely (1): If not for that one toe, Likely would have an argument as the biggest week one hero of all. That's assuming a completed two-point try, of course. But nevertheless, Likely impressed in the Ravens opener. He caught 9 passes for 111 yards and an insane Touchdown early in the 4th quarter to pull the Ravens to within 3.

Wide Receiver- Jayden Reed (1): Reed caught 4 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown for a very productive opening game for the Packers. However, it was his 1 rushing attempt for 33 yards and a touchdown that had him leading all receivers in Rushing Threat and pushed him to the top of the list overall as well.

Wide Receiver- Tyreek Hill (2): Hill had an eventful Sunday to say the least. After an altercation with police that resulted in what seemed to be an erroneous arrest, Hill returned to the stadium to catch 7 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown including an 80-yarder. We're guessing this won't be the last time Hill makes the All-Threat team this season, but you should check out our Best Bets tab to see what we think about this Thursday night.

Wide Receiver- Jaylen Waddle (3): Miami puts two receivers on the first team in Week 1 with Waddle catching all 5 of his targets for 109 yards. There was a big drop off in Threat production after our top 2, but Waddle's 21.8 yards per catch landed him in the 3rd spot good for a First-Team finish.

Threat Rate Week 1 Second Team

QB: Sam Darnold

RB: J.K. Dobbins, David Montgomery

TE: Brock Bowers

WR: Cooper Kupp, George Pickens, Nico Collins

We will be producing these teams on a week to week basis letting you know who produced most on the offensive side of the ball.
