As we enter the 2024 NFL season, we'd like to draw some attention back to our proprietary player rankings. Havoc Ratings takes into account everything a defensive player does in a game and assigns a score on a play-by-play basis. We used it in the off-season to project our best defenders in 2024. Now that we're in season, we can tell you what individual players perform the best on a week to week basis. With that in mind, here is our week 1 All-Havoc Team.

First Team All Havoc

Cornerback- Jaylon Johnson(1): Johnson recorded a pick in the Bears come from behind win against the Titans while also adding 2 passes defended. In just 38 coverage snaps, he summed the 2nd most coverage Havoc trailing only Trevon Diggs who had 17 more snaps in coverage. He was also very solid in run defense in 23 snaps of run support.

Cornerback- Trevon Diggs(2): Diggs is back on the field and back to his old ways- Recording interceptions. He led all corners in total Coverage Havoc week 1. He added 5 tackles and 2 passes defended to his interception.

Cornerback- Riq Woolen (3): Like his two predecessors on the first team, Riq Woolen had an interception and 2 passes defended against the Broncos. The Seahawks secondary gave rookie QB Bo Nix fits all day and Woolen spearheaded that effort.

Safety- Julian Love (1): Another member of the Seahawks secondary joins our first team Havoc list at Safety. Unlike our 3 corners, Love did a lot of damage in run support leading all Safeties in run defense Havoc created. he was also strong in 49 pass coverage snaps turning in a great all around game.

Safety- Reed Blankenship(2): Blankenship recorded a game changing interception on Friday night against the Packers. He led all safeties in coverage Havoc and added 8 tackles to his line.

Linebacker- Zack Baun(1): Baun had 11 solo tackles and 2 sacks putting together an all-around game where he was 4th among linebackers in run stopping havoc while also being 2nd is Pass Rushing Havoc. He took home the 5th spot in coverage for good measure in the Eagles win over the Packers.

Linebacker- Eric Kendricks(2): Kendricks had a monster game with 2 sacks and an interception in a contest where Dallas was never challenged by the Cleveland Browns. The Cowboys are already enjoying having Linebackers on the roster this year.

Edge- Greg Rousseau(1): Rousseau had a monster week 1 tallying 3 sacks in the Bills win over the Cardinals. Along with his strong pass rushing game, he was 12th in run stopping Havoc created amongst edges in only 17 snaps against the run.

Edge- Joey Bosa(2): Bosa tallied a sack and a forced fumble on Sunday against the Raiders en route to a win. In addition to that, he was also our second best Havoc run stopper amongst edges tallying 6 solo tackles in the contest.

Interior DL- Deforest Buckner(1): As usual, Buckner was great against the run and pass for the Colts. He had 5 solo tackles and 1.5 sacks. That was good for 5th amongst Interior Defensive Lineman against the run and 3rd in pass rush in terms of Havoc created.

Interior DL- Poona Ford(2): Ford led all Defensive tackles in pass rush Havoc. He had an interception on a Gardner Minshew pass deflected by Khalil Mack. Maybe a little right place, right time but Ford reeled it in, nonetheless.

Second Team All Havoc

Linebackers: Foyesade Oluokun, Logan Wilson

Edges: Darrell Taylor, Keion White
