Thursday Night Football Best Bets Week 12
The Steelers travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns on Thursday Night Football. The Steelers are riding high off their division win over the rival Ravens, but they've got a stretch with lots of games in the AFC North to finish the season and their toughness will be tested. The Browns are simply trying to prove they haven't mailed it in yet. Beware, there is potential nasty weather in Cleveland tonight. Here's our picks:
Jerry Jeudy Over 44.5 Receiving Yards: Jerry Jeudy is finally starting to show some of the production Cleveland had hoped for when they brought him over from the Broncos. He's got at least 73 receiving yards in each of the last 3 games coinciding with Jameis Winston becoming the starter. Jeudy has a nearly 20 percent target share on the season and an ADOT of 13.2. We think the hot streak continues and he goes over against the Steelers.
Browns Cover +3.5 versus Steelers: It's a division game at home and these AFC North battles tend to stay close. The Browns have shown more life since the injury to Deshaun Watson and subsequent insertion of Winston as their starter. The Steelers failed to score a touchdown last week against the Ravens. We're not saying that will happen again, but with inclement weather impending, we anticipate a low scoring, close game so we'll take the points and go with the Browns.
George Pickens Over 55.5 Receiving Yards: Speaking of hot streaks, Pickens has been over this number in every game started by Russell Wilson this season. He has an over 29 percent target share and 13.5 ADOT this year. We project Pickens 6 percent over his total and feel strongly about his over against the Browns.
