Ladies and gentlemen, here we are in heaven.

Conference championship weekend is here and we are getting some awesome matchups. Two of the leagues best are meeting once again to cement themselves in their team's lore and our memories. And the Bills and Chiefs play.

Let's take a

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles (+145)

(Los Angeles Times)

A rematch of Super Bowl LVII would interest plenty wanting a redo of Super Bowl LVIII. The Eagles’ roster and coordinator excellence allows for Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni to not match the rest of the team’s quality. Another bite at the revenge apple for former Eagles coach Andy Reid would be nice, but for parity merchants like me, I don’t want to see it again. Philadelphia is essentially what they were when they lost to Kansas City, but KC is completely different. The 2022 season saw Patrick Mahomes win his second and most recent MVP award on a team that scored the NFL’s most points that season, but this version has a better chance of taking advantage of Philly’s weaknesses.

Buffalo Bills vs. Philadelphia Eagles (+180)

(Philly Sports Network)

The key to great storytelling is the proper portrayal of flawed characters. Your Tony Sopranos and Walter Whites were the bad guys that everyone rooted for and I can see a parallel forming in this potential matchup. Both quarterbacks have been known to toss the ball to opposing defenses which can lead to great drama on the league’s greatest stage. With Sirianni and McDermott as the eccentric directors, another layer of potential inconsistencies presents itself. Though, I would like the Bills in this matchup, Saquon Barkley would change my mind as he galloped down the sideline.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Washington Commanders (+450)

(AP)

The truest display of a David-versus-Goliath matchup would see the first rookie in the Super Bowl in NFL history. Though Jayden Daniels stacked up phenomenal performance after top tier outing in the late moments of games, Patrick Mahomes dominates the category. The stark contrasts in defense would immediately put on display exactly what the young buck hasn’t quite figured out.

Buffalo Bills vs. Washington Commanders (+500)

(Bleacher Report)

Older Buffalo fans might overflow with tears if they get the chance to slap Washington back. They would delight in the blood dripping from their mouths as the Lombardi flew across western New York. If Jayden Daniels offers Josh Allen a jousting match and he accepts, this would be the most entertaining duo of opponents, but Josh’s matchup against a worrisome defense probably prevails.
